This election is about moving forward. I am about creating new ideas for District 5 – change from what has gone before. Clyde Clapp had his chance to make meaningful change for District 5 eight years ago and failed. I offer new leadership and skills that have not been seen in District 5 for over a decade.
My background is in governmental fiscal oversight and management. I have led over 20 fiscal audits that required extensive contract and invoice testing, account analysis and reporting to various boards, governmental agencies and independent auditors.
Not everyone on the Board needs to have such an extensive fiscal background, but every Board needs to have at least one person who can ask the difficult questions. As a fiscally conservative economist, I will report to you what is happening and how we can make our County work for you.
